5 Tips for Healthy, Glowing Summer Skin



As the temperatures start to rise, it's important to take extra care of your skin. The summer sun can be hard on your skin, causing dehydration, sunburn, and other damage.


Try some of these tips for healthy summer skin and you'll keep your skin glowing all season long!

1. Stay hydrated.


Drinking plenty of water is key for keeping your skin hydrated from the inside out.


Be sure to up your water intake in the summer months, and your skin will thank you.






2. Wear sunscreen.


It's important to wear sunscreen all year round, but especially in the summer when the sun's rays are strongest.


Be sure to choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 for optimal protection.





3. Exfoliate regularly.


Sloughing off dead skin cells is important for keeping your skin looking fresh and radiant. Be sure to exfoliate a few times a week in the summer months to avoid dull, dry skin.



4. Don't overdo it with makeup.


In the summer heat, less is definitely more when it comes to makeup.
